LIBERTY ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

FEES FOR RECREATIONAL CLASSES ARE €65 ANNUAL SCHOOL YEAR GYMNASTICS IRELAND MEMBERSHIP/INSURANCE FEE TO BE PAID AT THE START OF THE SEPTEMBER TERM OR ON JOINING (GYMNASTICS IRELAND MEMBERSHIP AND INSURANCE FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE) PLUS Term Fee of €110 PER 10 CLASS TERM (Term fees are non-refundable), TO BE PAID AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH TERM. SIBLING DISCOUNT AVAILABLE. GYMNASTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND A NEW TERM UNTIL PREVIOUS TERM FEES HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL. COMPETITION SQUAD FEES AS DISCUSSED WITH VICKI WHEN INVITED TO COMPETITION SQUAD.

 IF CLASS CANNOT BE HELD FOR ANY REASON I WILL LET PARENTS KNOW IN ADVANCE BY EMAIL AND TEXT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS AND CONTACT NUMBER USED TO SIGN UP ON THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM. PLEASE MAKE SURE I HAVE YOUR CORRECT CONTACT NUMBER AND EMAIL ADDRESS!! All club info will be sent by email to the email address you used to sign up to online booking system. Please regularly check Facebook Page, all news is posted on Facebook!!

LIBERTY ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS IS A NUT FREE ENVIRONMENT!! GYMNASTS CAN BRING A DRINK TO CLASS BUT NO FOOD IS PERMITTED IN THE GYM HALL UNLESS NEEDED FOR MEDICAL REASONS.

PARENTS ARE RESPECTFULLY ASKED TO LEAVE THE HALL ONCE CLASS HAS STARTED , PARENTS STAYING IN THE HALL MAKES IT HARDER FOR THEIR CHILD TO SETTLE AND DISTRACTS THE OTHER CHILDREN. We do not have a viewing area at present, there will be opportunity's during the gymnastics year to see your child's progress in our club competition and end of year display.

GYMNASTS CAN WEAR LEOTARD (OPTIONAL), SHORTS, T-SHIRT, TRACK-SUIT, LEGGINGS, HOODIE, AND SOCKS FOR TRAMPOLINE. HAIR SHOULD BE TIED UP.

Liberty club leotard, shorts, hoodie, leggings and t-shirt will be available to order in the gym during the year.

LIBERTY ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND/OR DISABILITIES BEFORE YOUR CHILD STARTS CLASSES.

ALL GYMNASTS ARE EXPECTED TO TREAT THEIR COACHES AND EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT. ALL GYMNASTS ARE TO BE MINDFUL OF THEIR OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS. ALL GYMNASTS ARE EXPECTED TO TREAT THE GYM AND EQUIPMENT WITH RESPECT. ALL GYMNASTS ARE EXPECTED TO TREAT THE PROPERTY OF OTHERS WITH RESPECT. ALL PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO TREAT COACHES, GYMNASTS AND OTHER PARENTS WITH RESPECT.

GYMNASTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE HALL DURING CLASS TIME.

GYMNASTS ARE TO BE COLLECTED FROM THE GYM AT THE END OF CLASS AND ARE NOT TO LEAVE THE HALL UNTIL COLLECTED, THIS IS PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY. COACHES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GYMNASTS ONCE CLASS HAS FINISHED.

WHEN DROPPING YOUR CHILD PLEASE WAIT IN THE ENTRANCE ROOM, A COACH WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN PREVIOUS CLASS HAS FINISHED.

PLEASE DISCUSS COLLECTION TIMES WITH YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN.

CHILDREN ARE NOT TO WAIT OUTSIDE ALONE!!

COACHES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GYMNASTS OUTSIDE OF GYMNASTS CLASS TIMES, PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN CHILDREN BEFORE CLASS STARTS AND AFTER CLASS FINISHES. AS A COURTESY COACHES WILL WAIT IN THE HALL UNTIL EVERYBODY HAS BEEN COLLECTED BUT PLEASE BE ON TIME TO DROP AND COLLECT YOUR CHILD, ESPECIALLY AT 8PM COLLECTION TIME!!

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBOURING BUSINESS OWNERS WHEN PARKING, Please do not park or pull into others roller door. 24 hour access is needed on roller doors!!

FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THIS CODE WILL RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES.

 Gymnastics Ireland Mandatory Membership Agreement:

1: MEDICAL INFOMATION

Medical information provided will be treated as private and confidential by both Gymnastics Ireland and relevant member club.

Please outline any medical information (i.e allergies, conditions, medication) which may impact on your health, welfare or behaviour while participating in our activities (for example – epilepsy, asthma, special dietary requirements etc...). Please insert medical information on your child's class4kids profile.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions I consent to the sharing of my personal medical data outlined above for the purposes of delivery of my safe participation in gymnastics and administering medical assistance if required.

Not providing consent will not affect your membership to the Club, however giving us consent to share this information will help volunteers and administrators to know how to respond effectively in the case of any medical emergency.

2: MEMBERSHIP OPT-IN AGREEMENT

By applying for membership of Gymnastics Ireland (GI) through a GI registered club I confirm the following:

• I understand and agree to abide by the constitution, rules and policies of Gymnastics Ireland, including but not limited to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Policy/Strategydata protection policies, which can be viewed via the GI website via https://www.gymnasticsireland.com/about/structure-policy. Sept 2024 - 2025

 • I understand and agree to the responsibilities which I have regarding these policies

• I have read and understand the privacy notice which can be viewed via the GI website via https://www.gymnasticsireland.com/about/structure-policy/data-protection-privacy. This details how GI will treat the personal data I have provided to GI and forms part of GI’s data protection policies which are designed to ensure my data is processed in accordance with data protection legislation

• I confirm that I am not involved with the management or operation of any non-

registered/connected gymnastics club(s) or programme(s) outside of the GI club network

• I agree to allow GI and my member club to contact me in relation to the promotion of the

sport of gymnastics and GI member services

• I agree to allow GI to contact me regarding the services of official GI partners

• I agree for the club to provide me with updates regarding club activities such as competitions, training, meetings and club events such as fundraising activities and social occasions

• I consent to photographs or video images being taken of me during my involvement in GI activities, which may be used to promote the sport by the club or Gymnastics Ireland.

• I consent to the sharing of my personal medical data outlined above for the purposes of delivery of my safe participation in gymnastics and administering medical assistance if required

• In the event of illness/injury, I give permission for medical treatment to be administered by a nominated first aider, or by suitably qualified medical practitioners. If my next of kin cannot be contacted and I require emergency hospital treatment, I authorise a qualified medical practitioner to provide emergency treatment or medication

I confirm that I have read and understood the permission statements above and the data protection privacy notice.

I have read the important points above and have given my consent by agreeing to these terms and conditions.

In the event of an under 18 member I as legal parent/guardian give my consent by agreeing to these terms and conditions.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions I agree members of Liberty competitive squad must abide by the rules as set out in the Competitive Squad Handbook.A copy of which will be sent to parents in August every year.

WAIVER

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

In consideration of the services of Liberty Acrobatic Gymnastics and Vibe Dance Club, their agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf or anyone hiring the hall (hereinafter collectively referred to as "LAG and VDC), I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and discharge LAG and/or VDC, on behalf of myself, my spouse, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate as follows: I acknowledge that my participation in circus arts, aerial arts, aerial silks, aerial hoop, trapeze, cloud swing, aerial strap, aerial rope,trampoline activities, tricking, parkour, free-running, air-track, airpit, slack-line entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties. I understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity. The risks include, among other things: slips and falls; falling from equipment; rope burns; pinches, scrapes, twists and jolts that could result in scratches, bruises, sprains, lacerations, fractures, concussions, or even more severe life threatening hazards; strains, cuts, bruises, muscle soreness and fractures; musculoskeletal injuries including head, neck, and back; injuries to internal organs; the negligence of other people; my own physical condition; and the risk of emotional and psychological injuries or physical damage associated with this activity. Furthermore, LAG and VDC employees have difficult jobs to perform. They seek safety, but they are not infallible. They might not have been made aware of a participant's fitness or abilities. They may give instructions that are disobeyed, students may use the equipment when not instructed to and/or the equipment being used may malfunction.

I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in the above activities. My participation in the above activities is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless LAG and/or VDC from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity or my use of LAG and/or VDC equipment or facilities, including any such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of LAG and/or VDC. Should LAG and/or VDC or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself. I further certify that I am willing to assume the risk of any medical or physical condition I may have. By clicking agree to these terms and conditions, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in this activity, I will be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against LAG and/or VDC on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein. In consideration of my child being permitted by LAG and/or VDC to participate in its activities and to use its equipment and facilities, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless LAG and/or VDC from any and all claims which are brought by, or on behalf of my child, and which are in any way connected with such use or participation by my child.  I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and by clicking to agree to the LAG terms and conditions I agree to be bound by its terms
